Mr. Muhammad Adrees

Mian Muhammad Adrees, Chief Executive, SCIL graduated from Punjab University before proceeding to U.K. for higher training in Business Administration. On his return in 1982, he joined Sitara Textile Industries as Director – In charge Export till 1983-84. Subsequently, he was transferred to Sitara Chemical Industries Ltd. to take over as “Chief Executive Officer”. Under his leadership SCIL has achieved rapid expansion; bringing annual production capacity to 207,900 MT from a meager capacity of 10,000 MT in 1984. The company has also enjoyed increased profitability and a substantially improved credit profile under his leadership.

Mr. IJAZ HUSSAIN

Mr. Ijaz Hussain is the Executive Director of Sitara Chemical Industries Limited, Pakistan’s largest Chlor-Alkali Chemical Complex, with nearly 38 years of experience in human resources, administration, commercial operations, marketing, and corporate management. He is a Trustee of Aziz Fatimah Trust Hospital and serves on the GIZ Working Committee and the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) committees on Human Resource Development and Technical & Vocational Training. He previously served as Chief Operating Officer of Aziz Fatimah Medical & Dental College and was also a Member of the Board of Directors of Sitara Chemical Industries Limited. He holds a Master’s degree in Political Science and an Executive MBA, and has represented Pakistan in international business forums and commercial negotiations across Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Australia.

Mr. Abdul Awwal

Mr. Abdul Awwal serves as a Director of Sitara Chemical Industries Limited. He holds a BBA (Hons.) degree from NUST Business School and completed his high school education at a prestigious boarding school in England, UK. He is a seasoned businessman with over 12 years of experience in the trading and manufacturing of textile products. In addition, he possesses extensive expertise in power generation solutions, where he has been actively involved in delivering EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) services, particularly in solar energy solutions for industrial clients.

Mr. Haroon Ahmed Zuberi  (Independent Director)

Mr. Haroon Zuberi is a qualified executive manager offering more than 30 years of general management (CEO-15 years) and financial management (15 years) experience of manufacturing and leasing industries.
Haroon Zuberi is a result oriented and effectual leader with a proven ability to turnaround static sale and production. Talent for proactively identifying and resolving problems, controlling costs, maximizing productivity.

Mr. Ahmad Hassan (Independent Director)

Mr. Ahmad Hassan has vast experience as businessman. Currently he is working as CEO of Chenab Engineering Works & Foundries (Pvt.) Ltd. He is B.Sc. Metallurgical Engineering from University of Punjab, Lahore. He holds different positions including Chairman Standing Committee, R&D, FCCI, Vice President FCCI and Executive Member Pakistan Foundry Association.

Mrs. Shala Waheed Sher

Mrs. Shala Waheed Sher is a household lady and is involved in various social and welfare activities in Pakistan and United Kingdom. Her inclusion on the Board of Sitara Chemical Industries Limited would be beneficial for the Company towards performing its socio welfare responsibilities for the Society.

Mr. Najmul Hoda Khan

Mr. Najmul Hoda Khan is serving as the Chief Financial Officer of EFU General Insurance Limited and also serving as the Director on the board of other companies. He is fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) and Institute of Public Finance Accountants (PIPFA) and also holds a Master degree in Economics. He has more than sixteen years of vast experience in the fields of finance, taxation, auditing and internal control evaluation, compliance and secretarial matters.

Mr. khan is also serving as Managing Trustee of Future Trust, a philanthropic arm of JS Group.
