It is supplied in the packing of 25 kg Polypropylene bags, having polyethylene liner in bags.
It is used chiefly in the manufacture of electric dry-cell batteries, in soldering fluxes, fluxing agent for hot dip galvanizing of steel and in the refining of zinc, as a mordant in textile dyeing printing, manufacturing of various ammonia compounds, production of urea formaldehyde resins and adhesives.
  • Keep in a tightly closed container.
  • Protect from physical damage. Store in a cool, dry, ventilated area away from sources of heat, moisture and incompatibilities i.e. concentrated acids, strong bases, potassium chlorate, and bleaching powder.
  • Wear appropriate protective equipments.
  • If ammonium chloride contacts the eyes, then eyes must be irrigated immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.
  • Shelf Life:    Long life if protected from air and moisture.
